The 2019-20 Black Summer Bushfire Disaster had a devastating impact on the Cobargo village and surrounding district.
Cobargo Quaama Business Recovery Group is dedicated to serving the business community of Cobargo and surrounds in the recovery from the Black Summer Bushfire disaster.
The Cobargo Quaama Business Recovery Group Inc. (CQBRG) is a not-for-profit, local-led bushfire recovery group which formed in response to the 2019-20 Black Summer Bushfire disaster which devastated the region and destroyed a large part of Cobargo’s commercial precinct in the heart of the village.
CQBRG invites a broad representation from all businesses across Cobargo and district to have a unified voice for local needs in the recovery process.
CQBRG has collaborated with a range of partners and organisations to deliver numerous bushfire recovery initiatives for the benefit of the local business community since 2020.
